The most important factor for practicing kitesurfing is that it should be windy. Not too little and not too much.
There is wind almost every day, but for kitesurfing it has to be the "right" wind. Right wind direction, right wind strength and not for turbulent wind.
Understanding wind forecasts to assess wind strengths, wind directions, and wind characteristics increases your chances of being able to kitesurf a lot.
It is difficult to know in advance how the wind will be. So quick decisions and short notice are also needed to get you to many good sessions.
If you have a flexible job and an understanding partner, or a partner that kitesurf, your chances of getting a lot of surfing are further increased.
Understanding the wind window, where the kite flies and generates power, is something every kitesurfer must know. You will learn this when you take your kite course.
